Pepco will open its first stores in Ukraine in the second half of 2026. The first store will start its operation in October, marking the company’s entry into its 20th market, after opening of first Macedonian stores scheduled for June.
The launch represents another milestone in the Group’s ambitious growth strategy, focused on measured expansion across Europe and selective entry into new geographies. In mid-June the brand will open its first store in Skopje in North Macedonia, and Ukraine will follow as a next new market planned for 2026.
“We are loved by millions of customers across Europe – from Portugal to Romania and from Estonia to Italy – and we are delighted that shoppers in Ukraine will soon be able to join them as well. We are looking forward to the pilot opening of Pepco first stores. Our purpose is simple: to make everyday life easier for customers by offering quality clothing and general merchandise at market-leading prices. We are excited to bring this proposition to Ukrainian families and to open stores that are nearby, convenient and easy to shop” said Marcin Stanko – Chief Operating Officer CEE.
For millions of customers across Europe, Pepco has become a destination store for everyday essentials – a place where families can discover fashion, homeware and practical products that are on-trend, good quality and affordable. The arrival of Pepco in Ukraine will bring this much-loved value proposition to local shoppers for the first time.
“I am excited to join the Pepco family – a company with a strong culture and a true focus on people. Today, Pepco has the opportunity to become an important player in the Ukrainian market. Despite the challenges of war, Ukrainians continue to live, work, and build their future, and I believe Pepco can become part of this recovery by helping people create comfort in their daily lives at affordable prices, creating new jobs, and contributing to the recovery of the Ukrainian economy” – said Arsen Starchenko Pepco Country Manager in Ukraine.
